The fridge and microwave were great for late-night snacks. The A/C unit was pretty loud, making it hard to relax. A decent stay.

The staff was available late night (11PM) to check us in. The young man was super friendly and the service was expedient. Thank you. Also the vending machine had Dr. Pepper. As a native Texan this was a big plus.

It's great hotel with unbeatable location on a hill. The property serves milk, cereals and yogurt for breakfast. I liked amazingly nice personnel that ensures guests have a really great stay. The ambiance is family...

During my short stay, I appreciated that the room had a fridge and microwave which made it convenient for snacks. The evening was particularly pleasant as I found it quiet, allowing me to relax after a long day of exploring. I also enjoyed the nearby Chinese restaurant, which was a great option for dinner after a visit to the Grants Pass Caveman nearby. Despite a few minor issues, my overall experience was positive, and I would consider returning.

The room was fairly quiet with three queen beds, a remodeled bathroom, newer furniture, I felt comfortable there. The location was GREAT, close to Barnstormers.

The management and staff were friendly and helpful. I loved that it is run by a local family and is not a chain. We felt like guests in a friends' home because the staff opened the pool anytime my children wanted to swim and were always available to accommodate the needs of our large family. If I am ever in Grants Pass again, I will be sure to stay at Sunset Inn.

The family suite was a delight, with three cozy queen beds that was just like a warm embrace after a day of adventures. The soft fluffy towels were a treat. They were like clouds hugging my skin!

Could use more breakfast options.

Whoa, Grants Pass is a foodie paradise! Discovered the China Hut just a hop away for some delicious stir-fry action. The room was spacious and surprisingly quiet despite the hustle outside, I caught some quality z's. Plus, the air conditioner kept things chill!

But the bathroom? Yikes! Then there were the awkward vibes when we checked in. The attendant seemed like we were interrupting his nap. Simple fixes could turn it around!

The price was right and the room had been remodeled

The tv in room 106 did not have a matching remote and it was stuck in pip mode. The bathroom did not have a fan. It did have a window, but a fan should be a requirement. The warm water in the shower was just that, barely warm and very low flow. I would expect a much better flow of water for the shower.

This place was budget-friendly without being sleazy. The place wasn't perfect, but it was a great place to spend the night and get some sleep to continue my journey. Showers were hot and beds were comfortable.

A little dirty, but not filthy. But at the budget price we paid, it was to be expected. Breakfast was coffee/oj and a packaged pastry/bagel/english muffin. No fruit. If you are insanely picky about your surroundings and food, this is not for you. If you have realistic expectations about a budget-friendly place, Sunset Inn is great.
